OV Laplander

The OV Laplander is here! The Laplander has being in the making for over a year and is finally alive, the design derives from the traditional Sámi knife used by the Sámi people know as the (Sami: stuorraniibi = “big knife”, Finnish: lapinleuku or leuku).

The Sami are an indigenous people who inhabit Sápmi, their preferred name for Lapland, and adjacent areas of northern Norway, Sweden, and Finland as well as the Kola Peninsula of Russia.

I love Scandinavia, I love blades, I love outdoors so back In spring 2021 me and my blacksmith started speaking about producing a batch for Offensive Veteran blades for you guys. We spoke about many uses and functions that the blade would be used for and after months of back and forth I decided to go firm on the style.

Iv designed the blade to be an ideal size for neck knife, but also perfect to scout carry or attach to day sacks or osprey or just a perfect fixed blade for your EDC or bug out bag.

The blade will be available in 4 tiers meaning 4 main styles but some of the tiers will be customisable giving you guys a chance to tailor the blade to your desire.  Below is the different tiers and what will be available to you guys.

Tier 1 – 5mm HCS, ParaCord Wrapped Handle (Choice of cord wrap) with Kydex Sheath

Tier 2 – 5mm HCS, customisable G10 scales, liners & Kydex Sheath (Scales & Liner colour TBC)

Tier 3 – 5mm HCS, Carbon Fibre Scales either solid 5mm or 3mm with custom liner & Kydex Sheath

Tier 4 – 4.5-5mm Demarcus Steel, customisable scales and liners
